Tania Laurie grew up in West London surrounded by international culture and fashion from a young age. Having lived in New York, Paris and Geneva, Tania speaks five languages fluently and exerts this multiculturalism in both her everyday life and throughout her designs.
Tania Laurie founded eponymous lifestyle brand ‘Tania’ in 1997 with a desire to create both elegant and easy-to-wear feminine pieces. Through exploiting the comfort and sophistication of cashmere, Tania strived to create unique knitwear that could be easily transformed from casual daywear to smart chic eveningwear.
Tania has always recognized the key importance of fabrics and fully immerses herself in all her designs; she personally picks all the inimitable buttons for each piece and annually attends Premier Visione in Paris to inspect the quality of the luxurious fabrics she uses. Her impeccable taste and astute eye results in perfection every time.
Tania now consists of three lines. The main line ‘Tania’ uses only the finest Loro Piana yarn and is all hand-made in Italy. In the Autumn Winter seasons, you can expect voluminous fur collars, intricate patterned knitwear and perfectly fitting dresses. In Spring Summer, a selection of stunning hand-knitted crochet dresses and delicate lace trims. The collection always exudes elegance and femininity.

‘Tania Too’ has an outfit for every occasion. In the Autumn Winter, expect pure cashmere pieces in a range of classic winter hues; In Spring Summer, Tania uses cashmere silk blend, to achieve that lighter weight necessary for the warmer months, in a range of eye-catching colours.
The third line, ‘Tania Plage’ provides beachwear for the chic modern woman; Tania, a seasoned traveller, often found that she could never find both effortless and fashionable beach cover-ups, so she started designing them. Consisting of cotton print minis, crochet dresses and beaded kaftans, the Tania Plage line is guaranteed to meet your holidaying demands.
This season, Tania has used Cash-Pima which is a delicate mixture of Cashmere and Cotton from the finest Lora Piana yarn and cashmere silk blend - this is the perfect weight for summer. There are lots of jackets and tops that can be worn over each other, channelling one of this summer’s key seasonal trends of layering.
The collection is full of candy bright colours; watermelon, lavender, petrol blue, citrine and grass green. These bold shades will be sure to brighten your look. Tania’s range of on-trend crochet dresses lends a semi-sheer look that reveals a hint of skin making any outfit feminine and flirty. All items are hand crafted and hand finished, inspected by Tania until they gain her perfectionist approval.
